The General Debate of this session of the UN General Assembly started on the 19th. 11 friendly countries supported Taiwan. In order of speaking, they were Guatemala, Paraguay, Palau, Eswatini, Marshall Islands, Nauru, St. Lucia, Tuvalu, Saint Lucia, and Tuvalu. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Christopher and Nevis, Belize. Haiti and the Holy See have not expressed their grievances on behalf of Taiwan, which has been excluded from the United Nations system for many years.

Among them, Marshallese President David Kabua bluntly stated on the 20th that the United Nations bureaucrats have long persisted in misinterpreting UN General Assembly Resolution 2758, using politically influenced conclusions, and preventing the United Nations from having any clear dealings with the people of Taiwan and their democracy. "We must have the courage to recognize reality and throw this outdated creed into the grave of history."
