我們正身處一個看似繁榮、實則危險的時代。
科技高速發展，資本不斷擴張，
但人類卻在不知不覺中，
走進了「溫水煮青蛙」的文明困境。
自利的經濟行為，
已被長期的資本主義制度訓練為「理所當然」；
唯物、效率與競爭，
被誤認為唯一理性的生存法則。
我們逐漸習慣這樣的世界，
甚至忘記質疑它。
然而，當一個文明
只獎勵自利，
卻不為利他建立制度；
只計算利潤，
卻不計算生命與未來的成本，
那麼崩壞並非意外，而是必然。
慈善經濟主義，
不是對人性的否認，
而是對文明的覺醒。
它承認人類本能的自私，
卻拒絕讓自私成為制度的唯一基礎；
它理解市場的力量，
卻拒絕讓市場凌駕生命之上。
慈善經濟主義所主張的，
不是道德說教，
而是一個根本問題：
經濟，究竟是為了資本而存在，
還是為了生命而存在？
若經濟不能守護這一代人的尊嚴，
也無法保障下一代人的生存，
那麼再高的效率，
都只是文明的幻象。
我們今日的選擇，
將決定人類是否仍擁有未來。
慈善經濟主義呼籲：
讓經濟重新回到它本該服務的核心——
生命、生存、與文明的延續。
這不是理想主義，
而是人類在尚未太遲之前，
仍然可以選擇的生存智慧。

We are living in an age that appears prosperous, yet is profoundly fragile.
Technology advances at unprecedented speed, capital expands relentlessly,
and humanity, often without realizing it,
has entered a state of civilizational complacency—
like a frog slowly boiling in warm water.
Self-interested economic behavior has been conditioned by decades of capitalism
to appear “natural” and unquestionable.
Materialism, efficiency, and competition
have been mistaken as the only rational laws of survival.
We have grown accustomed to this system,
and in doing so, we have forgotten to question it.
Yet when a civilization
rewards self-interest
but fails to institutionalize altruism;
when it calculates profits
but refuses to calculate the cost of life and the future,
collapse is no longer an accident—it becomes inevitable.
Charity Economicism
is not a denial of human nature,
but an awakening of civilization.
It acknowledges humanity’s instinct toward self-interest,
yet refuses to allow self-interest to be the sole foundation of institutions.
It recognizes the power of markets,
yet rejects the domination of life by markets.
What Charity Economicism asks
is not a moral sermon,
but a fundamental question:
Does the economy exist for capital,
or does it exist for life?
If an economy cannot protect the dignity of this generation,
nor secure the survival of the next,
then no level of efficiency
can be anything more than a civilizational illusion.
The choices we make today
will determine whether humanity still has a future.
Charity Economicism calls for a return of the economy
to its rightful purpose—
to serve life, survival, and the continuity of civilization.
This is not idealism.
It is the wisdom of survival
that humanity can still choose—
before it is too late.
